Host a Class
or Workshop

small talk city™ is a community space. If you teach, make, or guide — we'd love to host you.

About the space

A warm space for making & learning

Located in the heart of North Berkeley, small talk city™ welcomes teachers, artists, and practitioners who want to share their knowledge with our community of families.

Classes and workshops are announced in our Events newsletter and promoted across our social channels.

We are especially interested in classes and workshops that relate to our values — natural making, seasonal living, the creative development of children, textile and material arts, and practices that bring families and communities together.

Whether you teach natural dyeing, children's movement, bookbinding, seasonal cooking, plant knowledge, or something else entirely — we'd love to hear from you.

Use the form below to submit your proposal. We review submissions on a rolling basis and will be in touch within two weeks.
